Tofino Bus offers daily scheduled bus service. We provide daily transportation to Tofino, Ucluelet and Port Alberni from Parksville, Nanaimo, Vancouver and Victoria. Tofino Bus offers daily bus service along the Victoria - Nanaimo - Parksville - Port Alberni - Ucluelet - Tofino highway. If you are travelling from Tofino, Ucluelet or Port Alberni to Vancouver a direct connection is made in Nanaimo for buses travelling to Vancouver and other mainland destinations. If you are travelling from Tofino, Ucluelet or Port Alberni to Port Hardy and Courtenay then a connection is made in Parksville for bus service to the North Island. With Express bus service between Victoria and Port Alberni, Ucluelet and Tofino, Tofino Bus is your Island Express. Tofino Bus also provides service from Departure Bay BC Ferry Terminal to Port Alberni, Ucluelet and Tofino. Tofino Bus is also an interline carrier for Greyhound, so all of our schedules will connect you with the Greyhound North-America-wide network. We accept Greyhound tickets & freight.

Port Alberni travellers can use Tofino Bus as well; we have recently taken over the bus depot in Port Alberni and offer direct express service to Tofino, Ucluelet, Nanaimo, (both downtown and the Departure Bay ferry terminal), and downtown Victoria. The scenic west coast of Vancouver Island is a spectacular destination. Port Alberni, Tofino and Ucluelet all border on the Pacific Ocean. Long Beach, located in famous Pacific Rim National Park, lies between Tofino and Ucluelet. This amazing 12km white sand beach is the jewel of Vancouver Island.

The town of Tofino has many sandy beaches that are home to resorts, hostels and beach houses. Tofino lies within the United Nations Clayoquot Sound World Biosphere Reserve, renowned for its dramatic scenery, temperate rainforests and abundant wildlife (whales, sea lions, bears, seabirds, sea otters and more). The surfing capital of western Canada, Tofino captures the hearts of all who travel here.

The larger centre of Port Alberni is the heart of West Coast region, rich with history and culture. Ride a steam train, hike Mount Arrowsmith, or catch a museum or waterfront festival. With inlet access to Barkley Sound and the Pacific Ocean, the historical ship M.V. Lady Rose connects Port Alberni to Bamfield and Ucluelet most of the year.

The town of Ucluelet is your gateway to Barkley Sound. The world famous Wild Pacific Trail traces the rocky outer coastline of the peninsula, from Amphitrite Point lighthouse toward Pacific Rim National Park. See migrating whales, massive winter surf, ocean vistas, stunning sunsets and tidepools galore. Just 40 km southeast of Tofino, Ucluelet offers easy access to Bamfield, via the Broken Group Islands and the West Coast Trail. Seasonal daily trips are offered spring and summer between Bamfield and Ucluelet by the new Seaway Express passenger ferry.

All three communities offer a variety of quality accommodations, restaurants, outfitters and guides. Go fishing, whale watching, birding or bear watching. Surfing and sea kayaking rentals and lessons are available, or just relax and soak in the scenery.

Once on the West Coast, take advantage of the seasonal Tofino Transit service within the village limits of Tofino, and the Beach Bus, a local shuttle operating between Tofino and Ucluelet, including Pacific Rim National Park. To learn more click here.
